Gods house deserves as much care and attention as our own – and more. This is the conviction of the people who attend the little white church on the corner. From a close inspection of their church, it is evident they mean what they say. Upon entering the basement, the fresh smell reminds the visitor that somebody remembered to air it out well during the week. The pictures and charts on the walls glisten with obvious care. ”Cleanliness is next to godliness” may or may not be true, but Godliness makes cleanliness, and these folks have it. How the children must enjoy, for instance, that classroom in the far corner. It’s brightly patterned curtains and pastel- colored walls would make any child – or adult as well break out in cheerfulness the moment he stepped inside the neatly arranged little room.
